Don was a long time member of the Poole Mennonite Church. Don began his working career as a mechanic and switched to farming. He farmed all his life in Brunner, Ontario. After retirement on the farm, Don spent his time driving school bus. Don was a craftsman and enjoyed woodworking. If neighbours and friends didn’t have projects for him the grandchildren sure did! Don handed down his homemade crokinole boards to each and everyone of his grandchildren. Before Doreen’s passing, Don enjoyed travelling with his beloved wife.
