THOMAS, HILDA IRENE
Passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at St. Mary’s General Hospital, Kitchener in her 101 st year.
Beloved wife of Herbert Thomas whom she married on October 26, 1946. Loving mother and grandmother of Lawrence and wife Diane Thomas and their children William, Robert and Daniel. Hilda will be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews; Dianne Baan, Laura Von Farra, Elaine Bernier, Ronnie Raddatz and Bruce Hertel. Predeceased by her parents Amos Hertel and the former Emma Farrow as well as by her siblings Lester (Luella) Hertel, Shirley (Walter) Love and Gladys (Oliver) Raddatz.
Hilda was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, New Hamburg.
Friends and relatives are invited to the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron Street, New Hamburg on Monday, January 7, 2019 from 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 p.m. The funeral service will take place at Trinity Lutheran Church, New Hamburg on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Pastors Tanya Ramer and Helen Toman to officiate. Interment in Riverside Cemetery, New Hamburg.
