Passed away on Saturday December 3, 2011 at St. Mary’s Hospital, Kitchener. Kelsey was born 79 years ago in East Zorra Township and was predeceased by her parents Clayton & Clara (Bast) Kropf. Kelsey resided in New Hamburg and was formerly of Ratzburg.
Beloved wife of John Kuepfer with whom she celebrated 60 years of marriage. Loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother to Joan & Gary Roth of New Hamburg and their children and grandchildren Janine Roth & son Austin Wilson, Melody Roth-Ng’eno & Peter Ng’eno and children Isaiah & Malindi, Holly & Matt Trachsel, Ian Roth, Frances Jantzi & Walter Oldenburger of New Hamburg and her children and grandchild Shantaye & Reg Lamontagne, Avery Nau Jantzi, Adrian Nau Jantzi & Brittany Budgell & son Michael, Danberly Nau Jantzi, Barb & Don Roth of Wellesley and children Beckie Roth and Krystal Roth. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Art & Teri Kropf, Berenice Herrfort, Ron & Brenda Kropf, Lillian Kuepfer, Levi Kuepfer, Martha Schultz, William & Catherine Kuepfer, Melvin Kuepfer, Henry & Mary Kuepfer, Sarah Kuepfer, Velma & Dan Gascho, Dorothy & Andy Gascho, Susie & David Huber. Also missed by step-mother Vera Scheifele, step-sister Irene & Robert Jutzi and step-brother Wilson & Joyce Cook. Kelsey was predeceased by her father-in-law & mother-in-law Jonathan & Leona Kuepfer, sister Shirley & Pat Hergott, brother Bruce Kropf, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Allan Herrfort, Mary & Stan Helmuth, Aaron & Ruth Kuepfer, Barbara & Leslie Nau, Archie McNab, Joe & Betty Kuepfer, Ray Kuepfer, Laurene Kuepfer, Bernie Schultz and step-father Wally Scheifele.
Kelsey was a member of Countryside Mennonite Fellowship, Hawkesville.
Family and friends may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 7 Spencer Street, Milverton today (Monday) from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday December 6, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Countryside Mennonite Fellowship, Hawkesville with Ron Shantz officiating. Interment to follow in Hillside Cemetery, St. Clements. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to Christian Aid Ministries (Orphanage Program).
