COOK: Melvin Charles - passed away peacefully on Friday, June 17, 2022 at his residence the Nithview Community. Melvin Cook of New Hamburg in his 98th year.
Beloved husband of Elizabeth B. (Bauman) Cook who predeceased him December 3, 2014. Melvin is survived by several nieces nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by his parents Millis & Edna (Mohr) Cook, by his brothers and sisters-in-law Rebecca & Aden Martin, Andrew & Sarah Bauman, Rufus & Magdalena Bauman, William & Elise Bauman, Ephraim Bauman and Philip Bauman in infancy.
Relatives and friends will be received in the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron St. New Hamburg on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 from 11:00am until 12:45pm followed by the funeral service in the Chapel at 1:00pm. Reception to follow in the Waterwheel Room of the Funeral home. Burial to follow in Lingelbach Cemetery.
