Norma (Gingerich) Ramer passed away peacefully from this life on Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at her home in Nithview Community. She was born in Zurich 89 years ago. Norma was predeceased by her husband Jonas (1987), her son Steven (2008), her grandson Konrad Jr. (2007) and great-granddaughter Carissa. Six children and their spouses survive: John (Lorraine), Ruth (Dave Fennell), David (Mary Kay), Edith (Konrad Spilles), Mary (David Haus), and Miriam (Ron Wettlaufer). Also survived by 17 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 1 sister & 4 brothers and their families.
Visitation will be held at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron Street, New Hamburg on Friday, October 18, 2013 from 4 – 8 p.m.. A Family Burial service will take place Saturday morning, and a Service of Remembrance will take place at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at 2 p.m..
If desired, donations may be made to the Nithview Community Auxiliary or a charity of one’s choice. The family wishes to thank Dr. Rainham and the staff at Nithview who treated our mother with compassion and humour.
